The MONITOR Hunting knife is not only designed for fulfil all of Hunter's needs; including doubling as a camp knife, but is solidly constructed to handle years if hard work It is as tough as its namesake It is available in D2 Tool steel (61-62HRC!!!), as well as twist damascus steel (58-59 HRC) Handles types available are brown micarta, textured walnut, ramshorn and stag horn. Decorative filing and solidly made cowhide sheath rounds of this package nicely. The sheath is design to facilitate the removal of the knife from the wearer's belt without requiring unbelting, with the knife remaining sheathed
Note: D2 is a tool steel with good surface rust resistance but is not a full blown stainless steel.
